2007 Open Solutions Annual Record Setting Client Conference

- Educational sessions, informative discussions and product demonstrations highlight conference -

 

GLASTONBURY, Conn., May 1, 2007 Open Solutions Inc.®, a leading provider of integrated enabling technologies for financial services providers across the United States, Canada and other international markets, recently hosted its 2007 Annual Client Conference in Nashville, Tenn., from April 14 -18, attracting more than 1,550 financial services executives, industry professionals and partners from throughout the world. Additionally, there were more than 100 conference sponsors and exhibitors who participated in a Solutions Expo, where attendees could learn about the latest products and services Open Solutions offers as well as complementary technology products. This year marks the highest participation ever recorded at an Open Solutions event.

During the five-day conference, clients attended presentations given by industry thought leaders, peer groups and Open Solutions’ executives on current trends and issues including core technology, Check 21, remote capture, Internet solutions, security, regulatory management, customer relationship management (CRM), and corporate financial solutions including asset retention strategies and health savings accounts (HSAs). The latest technology updates and business trends in the financial arena, client best practices, focus groups, product demonstrations and educational breakout sessions featuring Open Solutions’ full product line were also part of the conference agenda. Client-specific sessions offered interactive dialogue with Open Solutions’ leadership, development and service teams to discuss ideas and develop technology-based strategies for growth and efficiency.

Prior to the opening day of the conference, Open Solutions Chairman and CEO Louis Hernandez, Jr. hosted a two-day Senior Executive Forum designed especially for client bank and credit union CEOs, presidents and C level executives. This peer-to-peer forum provided an opportunity for high-level briefings and an open exchange of information on issues facing the financial services industry, as well as feedback on how Open Solutions can continue to meet the needs of its clients. Howard Putnam, renowned airline executive and former CEO of Southwest Airlines, was the keynote speaker for this forum.

The Monday morning Welcome Address, given by Louis Hernandez, Jr.,discussed the state of the financial services marketplace, Open Solutions’ service and technology initiatives and provided an overview and update on the company and plans for the future.
